Gram went in for surgery at about 1230 this afternoon and finally woke up in recovery at about quarter after eight this evening. I haven't had a chance to see her yet cause she was still really groggy, but Dad was the first to go in and see her. They chatted for a couple minutes before she started to fall asleep again. When Dad and I left around 2030, they were getting her ready for transport to a room in the Step Down unit. So it's good she was doing well enough that she didn't warrant a room in the ICU. Hopefully she'll be up to seeing visitors tomorrow when I'm done work. Again, thank you all for the well wishes.
