There's another level for the God Tier. Another plane of existence. Everyone who reaches god tier goes there eventually, or they die with the session. You've gained a lot of knowledge. You've had plenty of time to learn. All the time in the world, in fact. There is nothing left for you here.
But...
When you ascend, you won't be you. Well, you will but it's complicated. No physical shell, it's an entirely different existence. You won't have the ability to sit and reminisce like this any more. You won't even operate in the same way. You will be different on a fundamental level.
You've been putting this off. You're afraid. Maybe you won't have the memories any more? Surely it's worth holding on for as long as possible. But you fear worse. What if you still have the memories, but they don't affect you like this? You're not sure if you want to exist in a way where you no longer dream of one more hug from your dad, where you don't miss Rose with all your heart.
But tonight, you have decided, is it. You will shed the last of your humanity. Shed these bittersweet memories. These memories are ancient, it's time they were finally laid to rest. You're going to find out what is on the other side on your own terms.
