sauna-like weather dream

i think my mind gets a little delerious when it's super hot in the bedroom at night. due to the rain we had to close our window and it got stifling hot being none of the cool rain air could get inside. this must be why people get awnings.

Dream:

Me and Mark are in a post-apoloyptic Pittsbugh. Most of the the people are dead due to some sort of plauge. The mood is very The Last Stand. Apparently we have been surviving for some time like this. Just to make matters worse we find that a huge Tyrannasaurus Rex has moved into town with 3 young babies in tow, who proceed to begin the hut-down and devouring of any surviving Pittsburghers. Me and Mark get seperated in our running and hiding. I witness the youngins busting down the front doors of homes to get inside at the inhabitants. I think 'We're fucked! We gotts get out of here." Just then I hear Moma Rex stomping around the bend and I hide behind a box on the stoop of someones house. I wait with my eyes closed tight for her to pass holding deathly still and thinking if she spots the whites of my eyes than I am a gonner. Once she passes I run the opposite direction down the street to my parents house. I enter and my mom and stepdad are at the kitchen table having coffee and opening junk mail. I freak out on them about shouldn't they be trying to hide orat least barracading the doors. After all the baby Rex's can just walk right in being they only have the screen door up. They can be seen for christ's sake. But they are not concerned. I am overreacting and everything is fine. So I leave them and catch a ride out of town with the first group of people I find. They are some yuppie family in a black sporty SUV with a leather interior I hate. The kids are watching cartoons on the DVD player. We get Mark and head out, but I am uncomfortable bc the AC is too strong and I am getting a little carsick. Plus I am worried the Rex's are going to multiply and take over the earth and we will never escape them anyway. This thought makes me little guilty that we didn't try to kill them before leaving. It begins to rain and then storm outside and we keep driving through small town after small town even thought we can hardly see the road. It's making me nervous but the man won't pull over. We pass a church. We can see through the windows that it is on fire inside.
