anniversary
today is my second year anniversary with malcolm pirnie, inc.: independent environmental engineers, scientists, ands consultants. i am one of the scientists. yay for me. this anniversary means i can't be denied now if i want to transfer. however i just bought a house. this point came faster than i thought it would. besides i figured i would be in class and now i am not even enrolled anywhere.
mina's cast is off. her leg is all stragly-looking and the hair is cut on it and she must have licked at it for an hour when she got home. she stinks and i want to bath her - perhaps this weekend she will visit niagra falls. her x-rays were so cool. they showed sort-of a ghost shadow of the tissues wraped around the fracture, healing it up. so she has to 'take it easy' for another week or so. that advise made us paranoid and put her in her room for the day since she was jumping up and down off everything last night. i hate putting her in her room. the doctor also asked if she would be an outside cat and he tryed to convince us she should be indoors only. this is still new to me since all my cats have been outdoor cats and i feel they need that whole outdoors experience. then again almost all of them died or has been sick or hurt from being outside so that makes me wonder why i think that. so far she is an inside cat. anyone have an opinion on this?
currently i am hoping my family can sort out thier issues by thanksgiving so i can start giving a fuck about the holidays again. they are coming on way too fast. besides, this is likely grama's last so i wish we could make it a good one, at least for her sake.
