gourmet peanut butter sandwaiches are just like regular ones
so i'm almost done my first week of summer classes and i have to say that i miss being home a whole lot. i just think of all the totally awesome people in new orleans and i know that no one can ever come close to the level of cool-ness that these people have attained. I went to see a dance festival at this cool arts center in baton rouge and they have that awesome fountain like ..ok remember the totally impossible to happen in real life movie "Blank Check" and our young hero, Preston Waters, goes on a date with like a 30 year old lady with an ugly haircut in place of his imaginary boss? well, there's this one part where they are playing in this fountain and the water is coming out from the ground and shooting up into the air. well... the place we went to last night, had that same fountain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heather and i ran through it and it was so so so so so cool.
At the dance festival thing there were some really cool ballet pieces and then some really trying to be artsy modern pieces. Usually i htink modern dance is absolute crap, but i did see one really beautiful piece from a guy from Tulane. But there was this once piece where these girls were shouting "I am...self centered, beautiful, malicious...blah, blah, blah" and they were just trying too hard for the piece to mean something. it was pretty cheesy.
I thought it would be hard to stay vegan and eat at school. but thanks to mr. fruit cup, mr. granola bar, and mr. peanut butter I am doing just fine. they don't have any non-dairy cream or soymilk to put in coffee though and that sucks...i miss mr. coffee. i tried him black with splenda..he was ok i guess.
