Well, I had almost hoped this was all a dream. I was clearly wrong. Hello, City, day two. Captain Holly Short reporting for no duty whatsoever. No cracks on my last name, any of you. I know I'm smaller than most of you, no need to point it out. Honestly, sometimes you humans are so immature.
Not a dream, not a test set up by that pathetic excuse of a commander, Sool. No way to locate Foaly, or for Foaly to locate me. My equipment is malfunctioning for reasons unknown, though I'm still full to the tips of my ears with magic. Book? Check. Acorn in Plexiglass sphere? Check. Weapons all accounted for. So far, not bad.
I've run into one Artemis Fowl II. At least I've some company here, someone I know. I've made a few friends here, and also for that, I am thankful. Aside from the charming Eugene, are there any other military types around here? If so, hello to you as well.
I wonder how my magic reacts to my laws here, though. As delightful as this City and its forest are, I don't think I would have enjoyed a night out. Entering dwellings uninvited? Best not eat beforehand, just in case.
I've done some exploring, and there isn't much to say. Artemis is repairing my LEP helmet to the best of his ability (thanks again, Mud Boy), and I should be able to scout over the forest soon enough. My wings are fully functional, if not a little worse for wear from their encounter with the tree. A bit of oil should do good.
EDIT: Oh gods. I just realised... the new LEP helmets. Foaly gave me one, the one I have now (Sool doesn't know of this, of course) to monitor me on a secret channel when I went above ground and -- d'arvit! It keeps tabs on my vitals. With the helmet dead, to the Lower Elements, I'm dead, too. Oh no. Oh no. I've died to Foaly. Again. Oh gods, Foaly will never find me now.
[ooc; Yeah, she's freaking out a bit down there. But otherwise? Holly's made quite a few friends already, so thank you all for the lovely welcome she's recieved! ♥ ]
