Commander Kelp cancelled her leave, presumably to have her deal with it, therefore, she hasn't had the chance to fully recover from the last mission. Time lag and mild Post-time-travel-displacement Depression may take its toll at some point. Holly is TIRED.
As we don't have a new book until, idk, three years... The above entry isn't specifically canon. Think of it as filling in the blanks between the last book and the maybe-next one.
