I'm the best officer in the LEP and I know I deserve to be.
I mean, come on. I'm the best shuttle pilot under the earth and one of the fastest on wings above. I hold the current record for core diving and the current air speed record just short of Commander Root's.
I'm the best sharpshooter in the LEP. I can hit a coin with a single laserburst, fifty feet in the air, dead centre. And that was after having my trigger finger reattached after it was severed by a train door.
I've survived two tangles with the same troll and fought off a herd of them single-handedly.
I helped shut down a goblin rebellion that could have destroyed the city.
I've saved my civilisation five times.
I'm only 82 years old.
Oh, and one more thing.
I'm a girl. The only one in Recon.
