Alright, I gave my professors the forms and addresses of the schools I'm applying to. Everything is locked in. Final list:
Boston University - Boston, MA
Colgate University - Hamilton, NY
Dartmouth College - Hanover, NH
University of Miami - Coral Gables, FL
University of Rochester - Rochester, NY
UT Austin - Austin, TX
I dropped Northeastern for BU at the last minute because BU supposedly has much better aid packages. Also dropped Skidmore and put UT Austin back on the list after discovering that like 90% of the school is either buisness or art students (which likely means very few good research opportunities). Bucknell had to go too, since I found out my source was incorrect and they did not infact have a neuroscience program, so I replaced them with the University of Miami. I've talked to most of the admission offices on the phone now, and I now have a pretty good idea of which schools I'll likely get accepted too. Dartmouth is pretty much impossible but hey why not. Their avg. transfer GPA was 3.7-3.8, (mine's a 3.46). Colgate's average was a 3.6, so again outlook not so great for me, but still possible. All the rest are 3.5 or below, so as long as someone offers me a decent aid package I am outta here.
