I guess if you're a terrible TV show, bad gimmicks are all you have.
The guy from Mulholland Drive--the one with the bad dream about the dumpsters behind the restaurant--is in an episode of CSI. Apparently, a very *special* episode of CSI about...FURRIES (which is, by the way, the ONLY reason I could be conned into watching CSI--an exploitative gimmick!). That guy is still playing it as CREEPY and FOCUSED as possible. I think that's just what he does. "I mixed up some civet oil and ipecac and spread it on...Sexy Kitty," he says.
A guest star from the X-files (I can't remember who he played) is also on, playing Sexy Kitty. There are a LOT of montages of GRAPHIC furry orgies, complete with the hard-nosed detectives learning the lingo. It's embarrassingly bad writing, but as an in-joke, it kind of almost works. The closing line is "fur and loathing in Las Vegas." Yikes.
Andre, out of the blue, came up with the secret identity of Walter Skinner's one-episode wife in the X-files: she was also VASH from TNG! We knew she was someone, but we couldn't figure it out.
Someone tell me who that Mulholland Drive actor is.
Also, is that lady from CSI a SPACE ALIEN? What happened to her face?!
