Well, I'm sure I'll end up with similar disappointment just from the game ending at all. I hafta agree, it would be nice if there was a way to fail objectives or fail at all for that matter... cause even playing on hard and screwing up as badly as possible, you'll still respawn right at the nearest chamber. That's worse than having to load and learn your lesson to do it right next time because you can end up blowing all your first aid and ammo with nothing to show for it (wasn't a problem for me, I went with wrench lurker and wrench jockey). The wallet kinda bugged me too, I don't know about you but my wallet could hold well over 500 bucks... why the hell am I running around with 500 ones, don't tell me that they didnt have twenties or fifties in 1960s? Endings aside, the biggest disappointment for me was undoubtedly the lack of multiplayer. It's nice to have different specializations working together. And besides, I miss whacking you over the head with the wrench while we were trying to complete objectives in SS2. Other than that, I can't really complain since I feel I easily got my 50 bucks worth on this one and I'm not even done with it yet.
The wallet thing was annoying to me mainly because it has a $500 cap, but there are four spaces on the money counter. I found it to be a decent $40 game as well. I'll probably be taking my replays a little slower since I plan on trying out other games on the new machine and I have a Metroid game to finish. :D
Cwap is that out already... I've been wanting to get my hands on that for a while now, I forgot it was released around the 26th. There goes some more munnies to expand the ol' Wii collection.
