Site Closure
The Captains would like to announce that The Quidditch Pitch will be closing for submissions beginning 12 July 2007 at 6:00 p.m. EDT and will reopen 1 August 2007 at 8:00 p.m. EDT.
This will allow the staff and Captains time to see Order of the Phoenix, anticipate the new book, and to read and absorb Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- not to mention making any necessary canon-based changes to our site.
We look forward to rejoining you on August 1st for your stories and thoughts on the new book.

New Staff Members
We'd like to welcome the following new staff members:
On a sadder, yet happy, note, rondastarr has stepped down as a formal Captain but we are leaving her as an Honorary Captain. She's currently studying to be a Mediwitch (it's part of her plan for world dominance) and as the Captains are all getting older and sicker we've decided that we may need her down the line.
