Had a fairly good day today. I just wish he'd hurry up and stop wasting my time. (That probably makes no sense to you but i cba to go into details so just smile and nod). Because the longer he leaves it, the more I'm falling for him. Grr.
Watched 'Shelter' again the other day. Gosh I love that film. If you haven't seen it, YOU HAVE TO. It's basically a gay surf film about this guy Zach with a really crappy life, who falls in love with this older dude and it's just... beautiful. And it's such a refreshing film, because, even though it's a 'coming out' story, it's not the fact he's gay that matters. There's no screaming parents and crying girlfriends, but just happens to be a guy who falls in love with another guy. The real plot is really about him figuring out what to do with his life, and revolves around his family/home life. It's sweet and adorable. You will all love it.
Through it I discovered the most amazing singer/songwriter. His name is Shane Mack, and his songs are used in the film. He reminds me of Jack Johnson a little bit. A sort of Jack johnson/James Morrison vibe. His music is magical. If you find some look for Shane Mack 'Lie to Me' or 'More than this' on YouTube, or myspace.
Did I tell you about RAG week before?? I'm not sure. Well basically we have a week of break time and lunch time events with teachers and boys from our brother school (we're an all gals school and they're an all guys school) and this year the upper sixth (us) are in charge of the fashion show. And yes our mates from the other schoola re going to strip. It will be hilarious, albeit a little mentally scarring. I'll post piccies if they'll let me. :D
