Solid State Survivor

Okay, maybe the subject should be the music. It's a good title for either.

Been playing Resident Wiivil 4. Excellent version, adds a great deal to the experience. Also: auto-aiming knife! Discuss.

Moving out of Statesboro next Sunday. Presumably, I'll be in Valdosta for a few months while Mr. Anderson and I work up the do-re-mi to be able to move to Athens. It should be interesting, which is all I'd really like at this point.

I don't expect Valdosta to be much of that for long, but it'll be nice to be back for a while. Fewer distractions = more writing, one should hope. Also, lazing around with old friends. Also, Mr. Lawson and I will be able to work faster on our cartoons.

Wait, what's that you say, Michael? You've been doing cartoons for a year now and nobody knew? Well, kind of. We've gotten about 70,000 views on the newest episode, to be sure. So it's not that nobody knew. It's just that you didn't know. So here they are on Youtube:

First one in its entirety: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkUtkUjw2b8

Then these three comprise the second episode:

And oh hay here's non-sequitur commentary on the first one.

These are Nintendo parodies done in Flash. They are quite stupid and there are some terrible jokes in there. But they were funny to me and my collaborator, Drew Lawson. Except for the fart joke. Didn't care for that one. I'm quite psyched for the next episode, which is the RPG battle spoof featuring lost and forgotten villains.

I am more interested, however, in the next project Drew and I are working on. It will be completely different from these in format, tone, style, and voice. But it's early. So I won't talk about it.

Anyways, so long Statesboro. I'm not sure that either of us got what we wanted, but I'm at least getting out.
