First 5K!
I ran my first 5K today! It was the Somerville Homeless Coalition 5K, so score one for a good reason to pay money to run. I totally finished; my time was 33:14. I usually run about 34 and change around the pond. Overall I pretty much just feel awesome today. My pace was good, I was able to put an extra burst in at the end, I actually freakin ran the whole time, and it was extra awesome because it was raining the whole time. My glasses were pretty much worthless - I definitely needed some glasses-sized windshield wipers and a defogger on them. Whatever though - I'm totally freakin excited to do another one asap. Bring it.
