Seeing as I have nothing better to do, and isnt that just a sad commentary on my life, and the the_funmonkey knows where I live, I shall complete the meme she so delightfully tagged me on.......
1. What are your nicknames?
Kaz, Casey, Jerry (which not even the guy who gave it to me got away with, I hear his testicular retrieval surgery didnt go as planned), Caro - which I despise to a degree I cant even describe
2. How do you style your hair?
I'm afraid Im a wash and go type of gal. It gets towelled dry, frizz-eased and then combed. Fraid thats it. It has a tendency to do its own thing, every follicle for itself so I try my hardest to not anger it and it graces with me by not looking totally like a birdsnest. Im either lucky to have good hair or just so used to being low maintenance Im blind to my own visage...
3. What do you always carry with you?
A satchel bag with content appropriate for a small bloodless coup. I could go for bloody with a moments notice but the Katana is heavy. Canvas bag for shopping is in front pocket along with notebook, pen, vasleine tin, keys, mirror, antispetic, plasters, travelcard, tweezers(no idea why) earplugs, nailclippers (i used to take this bag to work so it still contains most of that stuff, just never got rid of it), wallet, car keys, ink cartridges, water bottle and ace bandages. Huh, and I always though my bag was pretty empty....no wonder I have back issues.
4. Most recent obsession?
Invasion. I have a problem. Im trying to limit myself to the number of episodes I watch given that theres alimited number and yet...Maybe its more a William Fichtner thing, either that or he just is in EVERYTHING I own. I have no complaints...hmmmmmm havent watched any Invasion today... NO must finish meme.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
If introverts voted for a leader it would be me, but unfortunatly we're all to scared of each other to ever meet so the sash and crown will never be mine. Im suspicous of EVERYONE (oooh can you say bullied as a child.and as a teen. Woe is me) and everyone is a threat out to get whatever they can from me. Yes, it shocks even me that I have friends. Theyre either terribly persistent or just odd. Id like to think both.
06. What was the last book you read?
Eleanor and Abel by Annette Sanford. Its about never being too old to fall in love for the first time and the fears and anxieties that such emotional upheaval can have when your set in your ways and unsure how to bend to someone elses will.
07. What's your favourite type of take-away?
Dont really have one. Have food alergies that tend to negate the yummies, plus I freak out when not in control of what Im eating (partly the allergies partly the diet from hell) but I love Thai and Chinese food as long as I know whats in it and I trust the place its coming from.
08. Where would you most like to live in the world?
Vancouver. I even have a house picked out on the North Shore on Hope Street. Just need to kick out the people living there as I sense they may frown upon my moving in.
09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
The general soul sucking crushness of unemployment
10. What song would you pay to make non-existent?
Anything by Muse, Blur, Oasis, Coldplay or any other Indie band. in fact if you could jetison the whole lot of them into the Sun that would be great.
11. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Depends on where Im going. at the moment theres about 8 minutes between getting out of bed and out the door to go runnning. Anything else, I dunno, 20 minutes? Im low maintenace, or lazy depending on how you look at it. Well that and ive learnt that no amount of makeup/hair is going to change the look so eh, not bothered.
12. Do you have a certain style?
Jeans and a tshirt. Sometimes I wish I had more style but I just dont. Something a friend or my sister will look super chic and cool in I just look scruffy, plus I hate my body so I have issues with clothes. As long as Im covered and you cant really see shape then Im comfortable. Otherwise I spend my time freaking out.
13. What can you always be found doing?
Reading would be nice. Playing around on the internet would be great. But mostly on an exercise bike or step machine.
14. Did you have any special stuffed animal, toy, or blanket when you were little?
Pony, who was shockingly a big blue stuffed pony from the My Little Pony range. She had this zipper in her belly for you to store your jammies and treasures in. My sister had a pink one that I got when she got too old, thus starting a stable for me. Though looking back the things were so big there wasnt much room left in my bed for me.
15. What's the last song that got stuck in your head?
When your Heart Stops Beating - +44 which has the great distinction of creeping out brixxx when I sang it out loud
16. What's the last movie you saw?
Watchmen this morning. Enjoyed it muchly in a huh, so, kind of way. Now wondering exactly how much of Dr Manhatten's anatomy was Billy Crudup and how much was wishful thinking on the behalf of the CGI guys. And dude,if Daddy Winchester had been as well armed as the Comedian the man wouldnt be dead. Just saying is all. Plus I need to get over the gun kink I have. That or marry an FBI agent cos damn, even being a total dick, JDM in armour carrying a gun, totally doing it for me.
