So another month of classes is done and the stress has let up a little (but only a little). Next month we have Advanced Game Techniques and we will be making levels with the Unreal Engine. My group already has our pre pro done since we intend to expand on the level we did back in GCSD. We will also be taking Creative Writing, but thankfully, I got transfer credit for that so I've got some extra free time. :)
We are also moving into a rental house by the end of next month. I believe that we found the perfect place, and now it's just a matter of getting it and moving in. I'm really getting tired of the constant moving around, but as I don't have a stable job yet there's not really much that I can do about that. But the best part is that we will no longer have neighbors to worry about, and the house is newly built...so won't have crappy management and crappier phone, cable, and power lines that management REFUSES to fix.
The house will also let me and my roomies play Dance Dance Revolution again and gives us a way to stay active that we will actually do. Playing that game on the second floor of an apartment building, and feeling the floor bow downward and shake, is not very conducive to playing. Nevermind the neighbors below us pounding on the ceiling.
Also, one of my other friends is moving back up here, so we will hopefully be starting up regular D&D sessions again. I can't wait. ^_^
Also....
My ACG project in its finished form! Huzzah! It's a screen shot from Maya and not an actual render though. I'm pleased with how it turned out. That is to say, that it was done in time and looked alright. ~6400 polys and normal mapped. Two 1024 texture maps. ^_^
