Hello, Operator

Fresh posts, everyone. A skirt and a dress. Part of tomorrow night's (tonight, now, I suppose) fashion show at LCC. I finished a jacket for that, too, today, but I don't have any pictures of it yet. I think it's reasonably awesome.

So... what else happened today was that I phlunked my drive test. I passed the computer part of the test perfectly, but when it got to the driving bit things went to shit. I think it started when the administrator told me to roll down my window, which ended up harming a little cricket that was on it. I'm fond of crickets... But anyway, she made me go around this turn that I know and hate. You can't get in the right lane to turn from unless you turn into the "wrong" lane from the light. Trying not to phuck up, I turned into the lane I didn't want to be in because it was more legal. When I went to change lanes, it was impossible because everyone else was sane and turned into the "wrong" lane. So I slowed almost to a stop trying to get into the other lane because there were no cars behind me and ended up missing the turn anyway. Which was apparently all together a worse phuck-up than driving into the "wrong" lane to begin with probably would have been. I don't especially care that I phailed, it just pisses me off that now I have to pay an extra $20 to renew my permit for a MONTH so I can go back and give the DMV another $10 to phuck up on the drive test again. Which brings the total to $85, or $95 if we count the money I gave them today. Provided I pass on the second time. So, in short, screw the DMV. I don't understand why it costs so damn much.

...I seriously need to get a real job. It's really, really stupid that with my current "work" it will take me a month and a half to get enough money together for a new permit and license. I need to start making grown-up wages so I can afford grown-up things, like a license or a car or college. Shiiiit.... Outside of the whole money thing, life's pretty okay.
