Who are the brain police?
My latest dress is now functional, I guess you'd say... That is, it has all of its fasteners in place and could be worn. I still need to hem it, though, and I'm thinking of going to the library tomorrow and getting some flower books so I can trace more flowers to stitch onto it. And then I'll paint the flowers in. And it'll be hot. I think I'm going to make a little black jacket next... In theory, that should be hot too.
Art class is still fun. I'm learning. I bought a book today on making patterns for knitting and crocheting, but I haven't learned how to do either well yet. Sometime this summer I will.
I've resolved the problem of having an inevitably stupid senior picture, but you'll have to wait and see how awesome it's going to be. I was thinking about autumn today and how it's such a beautiful time of year. It makes me feel different somehow and I like it. And then school starts and shoots it all to hell by keeping us all indoors. Alas. Next year I will take it easy and get a job. And have a life. And I mean it this time.
