(no subject)
So tonight Chris and I went to Mystique, the show all the Asian societies on campus put on. Overall, it was a LOT better this year than last year. I think a large part of it was the fact that the emcees actually knew their lines instead of just stumbling over everything they said like last year. Larissa was in two acts which were both pretty awesome. I know no one will agree with me, but I thought they were definitely my two favorites. Some of the ones that were great, like Chinese Yo-yos and Taiko Drumming were great, but just dragged on too long. By the end of each of those acts I didn't like them as much. But I thought both of Larissa's, the ghost story Mujina and the fisherman's dance Sôran Bushi, were amazingly awesome. The one kinda funny thing in Chinese Yoyos was the fact that Adrien just continuously dropped everything. The other two guys were pretty damn good, but every time Adrien tried a crazy thing with them, he seemed to drop them. I felt bad for him, but it's Adrien so it's kinda funny too. But good times were had by all. I'm definitely glad I went. Though I prolly should have waited around a bit once it was over to see Larissa again and tell her how amazing it was. But, a certain someone I was with had to pee, so we headed back. *shrug*
