First post
This will be my first post. It is an odd idea, this recording my current thoughts and doings for public, or at least semi-public, record. That said, I am not doing much. I am in the process of drinking wine and spending time with Nareau. It looks as though I might be about to play some Super Smash Bros..
Sadly I have to head home soon. I have a job interview in the morning. I am not particularly thrilled about it. The job seems pleasant enough, but the pay is not up to my speed. Having written that I realize that it is silly to complain about the potential pay of a job when I am unemployed and making nearly nothing. Still I feel that my time is worth considerably more than they are willing to pay me. Strange.
Contrarily, I am excited about the appointment I have immediately following the job interview. I have a consultation with Miss Kitty (Kitty Brown of Sky People Tattoo fame), my former employer and old friend, about my next tattoo. The current plan is a line of spiraling Greek (Homeric) text, running from the top side of my left wrist to just before my elbow. The font is something that I have drawn up, we will see what Kitty has to suggest, and will range from about 1 centimeter in height to about 5.
To be fair I should also mention that I am looking forward to my later meeting with Janine, a friend that I made in Paris this winter. She happens to have relatives in the area and will be around tomorrow afternoon. She also happens to have a number of my books which I would love to see again. Especially since one of them is my favorite French grammar and my roommate Ashley has decided that I have to teach her French.
