Severus Snape was interrupted from his grading of student essays by a soft knock on his office door.

"Enter," he mumbled, softly enough to allow the possibility of not being heard; he had no desire to see anyone at the moment. Nevertheless, the door opened to reveal a fourth-year student, wearing a skirt of questionable length, a shirt with one too many buttons open and an excessive amount of make-up.

"Professor?" Her usually high-pitched voice was different now - deeper, lower and even more merciless on Snape’s eardrums.

"Miss Brown."

The girl closed the door. "Professor, I...I need to pass my Potions final."

"Indeed."

"Sir, I would do anything--” she paused for effect “--to pass that exam."

Snape raised his eyebrows and lowered his quill, leaning back in his chair. "Indeed."

With slow steps, the student advanced towards Snape’s desk, spreading her fingers on it and bending slightly forwards. "Anything, sir."

Snape stood up and walked around his desk, smirking slightly when the girl’s suggestive expression faltered. Standing behind her, he whispered in her ear, "Anything, Miss Brown?"

She drew in a shaky breath. "Anything."

"Are you...quite sure?"

"Yes, sir."

"Would you be willing to...study?"
