School, Lack of work, Poor me and tests

I didnt do too well in my first gross anatomy test. Oh well, it was only the easiest one of the semester. Next one i will have to study harder for. I am still easily in the range of the B/C border so its not too much stress yet. Had a cell bio test today. Feel pretty confident that i passed it. Mostly because Olga Kopp is the most fabulous biology professor in the world and really taught me my stuff in BIO 3400. I was not as stressed about the test as all the other people in class. I have a dinky paper due tomorrow. Gonna start working on it in a few minutes.

Still dont have much time but should mention that i will post the story of my crazy stupid wierdo roommates soon. Just for the record my other dad - Jim - drove up to oregon with me when i moved. I had a good time with him. He had a chance to meet the wierdos also.

I have a chiropractic blog that I am gonna setup. I decided to use blogger for that, however, because it will let me put a post button in word. My LJ client wont let me easily post to multiple blogs. Now i can have a program to do both and I dont have to worry about it.

Damn the Brachial Plexus.....im sure it wont seem so hard after I memorize it tonight but right now its pretty overwhelming. i have a story to help me remember it.....you know the All Cows Eat Grass or Every Good Boy Does Fine or FACE or Girls Buy Dolls For Amusement things we all learned as kids when we were first starting to play the piano...... this one goes like this:

You Young Mermaids line up behind Poseidons ULTRA TRIDENT! LSD SALTS Made Many Mermaids Miserable and Robert Taylor Drinks Cold Beer.

Hopefully that will help me remember in the classrooom test. It wont help on the lab practical though, I really have to be able to look at the cadavers arm (or what is left of it) and identify the structure that is tagged. No time to draw the picture that goes with the story. -- not to mention that the story doesnt cover any of the Arteries or Veins, just the nerves in the armpit. ACK!

OK so James is sick but apparently better. If I could slap him for not telling me he was going into surgery I would, although it would hurt his neck so I wont. I should call and see how he is doing if it is not too late by the time I leave for home.

My other mom, Mike, sent me a big box of packing peanuts with a stuffed baloon inside. She had a Wendy the Witch dancing stuffed witch (sings too) in it as well as a bunch of "zero calorie" candy (if you use the included calorie counter). There was also a thing of silly spray string. I sprayed patrick and got it in his fake hair - oops. good thing it came out easily.
