a well deserved update
well, I guess it is time for me to update my blog. Its been so long that i dont really remember what I did last. Oh well, formatting your hard disk can do that.
Been weak on not smoking, getting stronger again. Fortunately I didnt break down completely, only had a few but I could feel the habit reasserting itself along with the familiar feeling of powerlessness that it brings with it. In spite of the hardship I have come out feeling victorious.
Patrick moved to portland today (or tomorrow am actually) funny how I will miss having him around.
my ochem is almost over. I gave my notice at work for sept 15 and plan to move soon after. I will be stopping in reno on the way to portland to see paul (since it is on the way). In my ochem class I didnt do well at first. I have ended up with the class high on one test and second on another though which brings my overall score to a B Minus if I do not take the final! I am only four points from B and will definately go for that - I am not sure if I will take the final exam to bump it even more.
Carl has probably moved my now. i need to call him. Not certain if I have his new phone number or not though.
I did my first cross processing of film. c41 --> e6. turned out very green with low contrast. pretty cool photos. I am doing an e6--> c41 tomorrow and am excited to see how that turns out. Cami is fixing my manual camera this week and i am very exctied. it is the only camera I own that will not screw up infra red film. I am planning on doing an IR shoot next week.
James asked if I wanted to go camping but I was stuck working. kinda sad cause it souded fun. I did go to ogden canyon (wolf creek) twice this week to the thorpe reunion. it was pretty fun. That family is still small enough to know everybody because it is only three generations. (well four if you count my sisters kids - but the oldest generation is my grandparents).
