A breath of fresh air
This week has been absolutely lovely. On Saturday, I was going to get dinner with Claire's roommates from before graduation, and when AJ and Michelle came to pick me up, surprise of surprises, Claire was hiding in the back seat! She had arrived on the train that afternoon completely unbeknownst to me. I hadn't felt in a long time such a moment of complete joy like the moment of seeing her.
We had a great week hanging out; unfortunately she had to leave for home yesterday. I drove Claire to the train station and waved goodbye as the train pulled away. I had offered to send something back in her stead so she could stay, but her students needed her today. Oh well, I will look forward to when we will see each other again. A few weeks is not so long.
Now, back to my thesis. . .
