Some things are just gonna happen no matter what. Death and taxes sure, but birthdays too. It's not that I was looking forward to it, but I guess it beats the alternative. I guess time waits for no one right? I think because I've always shared my birthday, they never really meant a huge deal to me.
But now it's the middle of July, which thankfully means summer will be over soon and we can get back to the ice. I haven't skated in what feels like years. And it will wait longer as we're on the coast now, enjoying some New England hospitality. The crab cakes are pretty righteous too.
