13.5 -- CFUW85. LOCKED TO ITACHI & HIDAN

Sep 13, 2008 12:30

I have reason to believe that either Cheech and Chong (epic_shale and just_crash) or Lucy and Ricky (gourys_usernaem and boomtoday) are a wolf pair ( Read more... )

I did find Gourry's insistence on focusing on food, and then later his partner's anatomy, unfortunate. Both because it was irritating and unhelpful. He doesn't strike me as particularly bright, but at the same time it would be a good cover. Particularly if his partner is clever enough to use it to their advantage.

That's what I figure, too. Amelia mentioned Lina was smart, and he seems to do what she says. It... could just be him, too, but he seems to make all the announcements for their duo.

...Yes, and Lina strikes me as outspoken herself, so letting Gourry make all the announcements for their team is strange.

On the other hand, they seem to know the other two, Zelgadis and Amelia, kinda well, enough to say their impromptu voting is pretty uncharacteristic. But they still wanted to stick by their friends and believe they were sheep (or that's what they said.) But like I said, Amelia said Lina'd make a good wolf, and that she wouldn't put it past the two of them.

Maybe we'll get lucky and there'll be a clue which points to one or the other at some point. Or if a sheep team's amassed enough stars, they can identify Lina and Gourry.

I see.

If we make it through the voting round, I'll keep an eye on both teams, and perhaps start talking to them in private. If what you say is true, either one could potentially be an effective wolf team.

Thanks. We're voting for Sakubo and Tokitoh - obviously. Good luck.

It appears you're safe after all.

Emiri assured me we would be, since we've been in a clue and that hasn't been fully resolved yet. Still, it pays to be a little paranoid, right? My information still stands.

The private thread those kids opened up kind of implies we voted a wolf out the first time around, and not the second, which I feel kinda bad about. But we still think your team's the least suspicious of the three.

Is there any particular reason you don't suspect us? When I spoke to Emiri in the first ousting post she seemed to find it odd that I didn't suspect your team more than I did. I actually expected her to be suspicious of us after that.

Nothing exciting; more a process of elimination. We've been reading over old threads a lot, y'know, and out of the latest clue's options I find Ikki and Ringo much more suspicious. I dunno if Emiri feels entirely the same; they're her friends, so it's hard for her to be entirely objective.

I see. I suppose that's all we can do, when it comes down to it. Read the threads that we have access to and decide what subtleties seem most suspicious.

Plus there's the fact that they just haven't been eaten yet; Sheryl's team got munched for her reputation, and Ringo has a similar one if I've been reading the archives right.

How do you know that's the reasoning behind Sheryl's elimination?

Though, I admit it's a good reason. She was in the last game I was in. She was very good at networking, as I recall.

Heh, I don't. But it was the first round and they hadn't interacted publicly with many people beyond each other, so I don't see what other sort of reason it could be. It doesn't help that private grudges can sometimes come into play, and I don't think Ikki and Kilik are the best of friends.

That's true. Ikki told me the one time I did speak to him, in the first suspicion post, that he disliked Kilik.

ITACHI~! Yo! The good Cap'n isn't gonna be around much for today, so if you want to talk to anybody on our team, I'm the representative for today.
