Bad blogger, bad!
I feel bad for totally neglecting livejournal.
ummm let us see...what developments have occurred since I last blogged here?
Holy crap, the last time I really blogged was in the summer for Sonshine. Hot damn do I have things to tell you.
Since Sonshine I got a new roommate, Kelly, she and 2 friends came to Sonshine with me.
Kelly and I followed Relient K on their Appetite for Construction tour with Switchfoot. We went to 7 shows in 6 states, we were on the guest list for 6 of those shows and then for the last show of the tour we surprised the guys and flew to Seattle, WA. At that final show my favorite band member, Jon, gave us their glockenspiel.
We saw Eleventyseven a bunch of times too. Our friend Ryne flew up here from South Carolina in December to go see Eleventyseven twice on the Punk the Halls tour.
I've been nominated for a Peace Corps program so I'll be in either Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, or the Kyrgyz Republic. I'll be leaving in August. I just mailed my medical examination packet back yesterday so I will hopefully know which country I will be in soon.
I'm assistant coach for my high school's speech team this year and it sure is weird coaching kids who were in elementary school when I was a senior.
It is cold as fuck in Minnesota right now.
I turned 22 this January 12.
I have just recently begun yet another attempt to get healthy, prompted largely by me totally wanting to bone a certain somebody. I know, I know, I should be slimming down for me, not so someone else will like me more but hey...he's my motivation. Whatever works right?
