Great Weekend
Well folks, I have finally bitten the bullet and purchased a computer. I have been meaning to get one for years now, but something always came up. It is so nice to finally have one of my own. I'm not going to lie, I have been messing around on it most of the afternoon just trying to get myself calibrated to using a Mac. They are a lot different than PCs, but in most of the time that difference is for the better. (My fat fingers are still getting used to the smaller laptop sized keyboard though. It was really great of my Grandma and my parents to give me a little help in finally getting this fine piece of machinery sitting on my lap.
So on to my weekend. Friday was one of the best nights I have had in quite a long time. I really do miss hanging out with Amac, Brad, DeGrood and the crew. It really is true that College is some of the best times of your life. Bardeline and I went down to the Ole Sheleighly (sp?) for a night of heavy indulgence in the wicked drink of the Irish. Then we went to Travis, thank god we made it. It made for a rough start to Saturday.
Saturday night, I ended up going up to Gilbert's with Klug and Becky. Matt was ripped, something that you really don't get to see that often. He then preceded to be a buttlug and go home to play video games. Becky talked me into going out to Utica to go to the lockerroom. Once we finally get there however, they aren't letting anyone else in the joint. Across the street was a nice bar. Half of the group went over there and had a few pops. Made for a pretty fun night.
Tomorrow is my first day back at Kem Tec, I'm rather excited about that. Banker's hours rule.
