Which, really, could be the title of ANY of my journal entries, minus the "awesome" part sometimes.  ANYWAY.  I got my package from Magrat/Robin  (I used my Megavolt icon here in her honour) and it is AWESOME!! Thank you! :) I haven't yet tried to use the batteries for their intended purpose, but the TARDIS is awesome as it is. I have it turned ( Read more... )

YAY, so glad you got it (and Megsy! ^_^)! I had originally intended Three and Liz to arrive _in_ the TARDIS, but school and work and needing to spend nearly a year not even touching my toolbox before I was able to once again build a circuit without engineering school PTSD flashbacks kept me from getting it done until now. And it's just as well, because the material I used for the roundels? Didn't show up until a couple of days before I finished it up. Mum got a solar cover for the pool - this gigantic sheet of plastic that lays across the surface of the water and keeps the heat in during the winter - and brought me a bag of the bits she trimmed off to make it fit. "Can you use this for you Sculpey stuff?" she asked. She meant, as bubble wrap to protect them in transit, but I instantly knew what it needed to be used for. When I tried to describe what I intended to do, she was concerned that the bubbles were going to be too big - apparently she thought I meant there is actual bubblewrap lining the TARDIS walls. But all she could say when I showed her a picture of the Pertwee Era control room was, "Wow. That's...perfect."

It still absolutely amazes me how your Sims game keeps DOING that - it's almost scary, really, in an AI-definitely-should-never-exist sort of way. I'm looking forward to hearing about the continuing adventures of Jadzia Lockhart (who really is gorgeous!)

And apparently we're both Sesheta. Good times.

(One of the things I meant to point out from my Discworld listenings was the three laws of the Librarians of Time and Space: " 1. Silence; 2. Books must be returned by the last date stamped; 3. Do not interfere with the nature of causality." I swear I didn't remember this when I was writing "A Different Morality." Heh...)

Heh. I had a hard time getting it open at first (with things like that, I'm often afraid that putting enough force on it to open it/push it/whatever, will end up being enough force to _break_ it) but YES, I love the roundels...! :)
(Speaking of Three/his era, I'm off to watch another two episodes of Worzel Gummidge. BY the way, Jadzia Lockhart's lot's name is a reference to that--Scatterbrook Farm! And yes, she has a scarecrow. (beam))

As for the "telepathic module", well, not EVERYTHING I listed there was not-done-by-me-on-purpose--I mean, I _bought_ the phonograph instead of a modern boombox for Hogwarts' music entertainment, and I _put_ it on the Big Band station (I'm just so tickled they even HAVE a Big Band station). However, how Lupin chooses to dance to it and how much he obviously _enjoys_ doing so, is all him.
Everything else on that list, however, was at least partly autonomous. I mean, I made Jules Brown Knowledge Aspiration when he became a teen--'cos how could I NOT?!--but _he_ chose "Become Mad Scientist" as his Lifetime Want.

As for "being Sesheta", guess WHAT, I just found an aweome Egyptian-related thingie that I would love to show you! In a new post. I seem to keep having links in _every single post_, but that's because, so far, I'm using this journal as a way to show you awesome things I just found in such a way that it doesn't involve yet _another_ "supplemental" letter, and which other people can see the "awesome things" too.

And here I was gonna just link to ONE thing in the next post--the incredibly silly Harry Potter fanfic reading that I wanted to put in my _first_ post, but Desktop Dungeon bumped it out. Sigh. ;)

Oh AND, somebody else in my game thought Sesheta-the-Sim was "hot" the other day. That's two now...would be more, if she showed up at places more often. (Here she and the other guy were two of the welcome wagon for Arthur and Molly Weasley.) Heheh.

ONE of these days, I will finish the "real" letter I've been owing you since like, what, October?! I really will...
