I'm so broke that it ain't funny, don't need much, just enough to get me through" Its not cause you ask for money, or cause you're poor, but I can see you becoming well-to-do in the future and supporting your parents if needed(as said in the final verse)...even though I think they're already fine...oh well, at least I didn't pick "Holla Back Girl"
