Bond, James Bond.

So I just finished watching the new Bond...which isn't so new anymore but I hadn't seen it yet.  I'm a strong believer that there is only one Bond - being "the Sean"...and all the rest are good movies but not quite as good. I hadn't heard good things about this Bond....and I wasn't particularly happy about there being no 'Q' and therefore no fun ( Read more... )

I'll take a hit on that meme.

I have to admit that Casino Royale didn't really feel like a Bond movie. It lacked a lot of the things that made a Bond movie a Bond movie. I can understand a couple little changes made since it's supposed to be an "origins" story, but they cut out that feeling you get from watching Britain's most badass secret agent save the world once again. I did however, love that opening chase scene through the construction site. That was amazing.

1 - I had no choice in the matter really - you befriended my brother - therefore you befriended me and I befriended you. Good thing you are a cool guy...otherwise that could have worked out not in my favor.
2 - Probably any techno-song makes me think of you.
3 - You like to drink Chai tea lattes from starbucks. - you should try a Cinnamon Dolce latte!
4 - We first met at tennis lessons - only to meet again later.
5 - I'm not sure who I associate anyone with - seeing as I don't watch anime - but I hear that you like Sid - so I'll go with him.
6 - Why do you not like steak?
7 - I've only ever seen this one - so I'll pick it.

3. That does sound tasty. Perhaps I'll give that a go next time.
5. Cid is the man. He makes it a heck of a lot faster to get around in the game.
6. I like red meat, but I really don't like it on it's own. I need something else around it to really like it. So maybe if you have a small steak and made it into a burger I'd eat it.
7. I have a few others but I don't use them much. I'll show you one.

I found myself cheering for the guy bond was chasing, who was doing awesome vaults, slides, jumps, and never seemed to get tired. He was amazing! Bond wasn't. That's sad.

I loved the part where the dude does some crazy wall-bouncing then vaulting and slides through a hole in the top of the drywall and runs off. Followed by Bond going straight through the wall. That was pretty cool.
