I need to lose more weight. A lot more. I'm sick of feeling this way. A ball of unhappiness and self-loathing. Just have to put up with the annoying pain I get with running everyday. Annnnnywayyy.

Wasn't sure I was even going to make it to see GWAR on that Sunday. I had to get a shit load of work done first, which I did and then bought tickets for the show online.
Noticed a text from Blaine Roberts (son of Gwar's drummer) asking me if I was going but it was sent hours after I looked at my phone. He was offering to get me in for free and watch their soundcheck. Oh well, next year....
Arrived around 7. Blaine was already inside. Large line of bohabs waiting for admission. I took my place in line and continued reading In Cold Blood. A bum hit up the guy in front of me for a cig, and then asked for a dollar from me. (I made the mistake of showing him my wallet and he must have noticed the 5 or so bills in it. After giving him two bucks he's like "how about a few more" and I reluctantly gave it to him. Scary bum...
Eventually made it inside, not a whole lot of people in dere. Not many people wearing shirts from previous concerts covered in jizz. Mostly shirts bought last tour.
Blaine was over in the corner near the emergency exit and merch booth. His dad was subtly running it with his wife. He was hunched over the laptob occasionally glancing up to look at him. I don't think many people realised that Jizmack was right in front of them! Haha.
Blaine wanted to give me some free stuff so he talked it over with his dad and I could pick out any shirt I wanted! I got a sweet punkish looking drawing of the band in bright colors on a black shirt, and Blaine gave me a tour program witha sweet ass poster in it. (Pretty sweet considering I had about a buck in my wallet)
Alex Caldwell and Sean Costello showed up soon after me. We weren't sure Sean could make it at first, something about not telling his mom whats involved in a GWAR show...
So we watched the first act Mobile Death Camp and they were fun. A lot of fun actually.
http://www.myspace.com/mobiledeathcamp Featuring Todd Evans on guitar, and vocals. He played Beefcake the Mighty on a couple tours and according to Blaine a fun guy to be around.
People started filling in the venue. Saw someone with a Trout Mask Replica shirt!
Then Job For A Cowboy. I really didn't care for them at all. The vocals are shit...
During the wait for Gwar, they played the theme to "Inglorious Basterds" and some of us broke out the lighters haha.
Around Show time, Brad hopped over the merch booth counter and went behind the black curtain next to the stage. Blaine went in with him saying he wanted to get like a group photo. A few minutes later we had a group photo and I got a solo shot with him.
His grip was really tight actually...
Saw a couple of the guys milling around backstage, as well as the biledriver in a folded up position. Matt Maguire (the rounded mask slave) was there looking like a possum with his makeup around his eyes.
Went outside the curtain/shooed out. The projecters at the side of the stage projected a video that was like "Behind THe Destruction" and was about Oderus's crack addiction and talked about their backstory and mixed in clips from their movies.
GWAR played a nice mix of songs.

I got sucked into the mosh pit. Alex got more and more into it so he followed me until he had to leave. (Although slightly more bloody then when he entered) It was the best pit I've been in. (During Job For A Cowboy there was a circle pit, Blaine and I just watched) It was so warm due to all the bodies crammed in. (Not to mention the whole spraying of fluids that is typical at a gwar show.)
I fell down twice in the pit, but each time someone helped me back up. That was nice.
Had to leave in a hurry at the end of the show. Good night.
