You sweet, sweet, misguided child. Has he put you under his spell, too? He always was gifted in the ways of magic, he knows it well enough, though surel he would deny it.

Since you are a lovely and very sweet young lady, and since I share the Captain's fondness for you - for you do inspire that and yet know it not, I shall give you but a small word of caution.

Our beloved Captain Beast is as dangerous as an asp, make no mistake. And he is far more cruel than e'er any man alive. You talk of rapists and challenges? Nay, the Captain is ne'er so coarse, nor an unthinking brute such as that. Whatever he does that comes off as kind and genuinely tender to you, know this well: that it is all too often merely a means to an end.

Ask him if he would have you intervene on his behalf with the Almighty. Ask him if you could offer it to him, would he drink the cup of Everlasting Life. See what he says. I know the answer to those questions, just as well as he does.
