What would your life be, if it were a movie? Comedy, horror, drama, sci-fi? And who would play you?
Having had this modern curiosity explained to me in some detail, I can't say as I see why these 'movies' are so damned popular. The players appear on some bloody big sheet, not on a stage, and if they're not in the flesh before ye, how are ye are supposed to show your pleasure or displeasure at their theatrics? Don't get me wrong, mate -- I enjoy a good bawdy show as much as the next worldly gent. But there I rest assured that should the lead actor's monologue fail to be evocative, I've not far to reach a'fore I can thrust my blade through his pretty powdered throat. Aye, I much prefer the intimacy of the traditional theater to a remote bunch of flashing pictures.
If my life were to be made into one of your movies, though, I should think there'd be time for each of the aforementioned elements. Most recently, abject horror, but there also be some grand adventure, some ridiculous drama, and even a healthy dosage of comedy. As for an actor worthy of assuming the leading role, well, he'd have to be a capital sort of fellow, don't ye agree? I rather like the look of this gent myself -- not as sharp as the original, it's true, but we'll work with what we have.
He has a roguish yet gentlemanly air about him that near meets with my approval, and his choice in hats leaves almost nothing to be desired. With the exception of that silver prosthesis, he could be a pirate captain after my very own fashion.
