Well, I'll Be Damned
So, like my last post said, the mom died a week ago this past Monday.
Since then, somebody has acquiesced to my request for a date (for tonight, nonetheless) and I've scheduled an audition with a local band that is in dire need of somebody to scream at a microphone. Save for the corpse, things are looking up (and she was the last time that I saw her, so that might even count).
Perhaps I was right to blame my parents for all of my problems :-)
