It's been a minute.
Well, Livejournal. I'm excelling through culinary school in Orlando. Le Cordon Bleu. I am with the girl of my dreams, Lacey Marie Walker. She's this beautiful, Italian, aspiring chef/model, pro belly dancer, artistic girl with ADD that I'm in love with. I work at the Blue Gator, this riverside boat deck style restaurant/motel/bait shop/boat dock nestled nicely in the corner of the country. School is full time though, so I'm often incredibly stressed about my current financial state. Life is hard, but at the same time it's quite humble and amazing. I really think that I have a fighting chance at a rich, wonderful, comfortable life if I continue down the path that I have found. It's not going to be easy though. I need discipline, and patience. Passion and dedication. Endurance and ambition. Wit and knowledge. I need to know everything. I need to love, and laugh, and enjoy the little things, and all the little secrets ^_^ I love food. I love Lacey. I love my friends, though I spend little time with any that aren't in the kitchen. I love life.
I'm not really in a rather philosophical state of mind right now, so I will save my rants for later. In the meantime, it's a cold one out there tonight folks, so get out the extra blanket or two and snuggle up with your hubbies. Goodnight, and sleep well.
