A week old already
So as of today I have been at my new store a week and a handful of days. I must say, I am settling in faster that I thought, though I make the occasional *wow was that stupid* move. Tonight, my first time closing Grill at this store, I discovered that the grease traps that catch the grease coming off the grills had a hole in it....after I had cleaned the grill with a couple of gallons of water.
Nothing is nastier that watered down, hot grease all over the floor.
But, I must admit; there are several benefits to this store. People are definitely more team oriented here, and I have yet to find more than two lazy people *yeah for me! I hate people who are lazy while getting paid*
So far I have not had the problems with people that I was told would happen. There are several day ladies who are VERY set in their ways. I had been told they do not much listen to the managers. For whatever reason I have not found this to be true yet..hopefully things stay that way.
