Today was a good day.
I got offered a part time night job that I can do from anywhere really. I'll be writing captions and lead ins and segments for The Complete Sheet, which sends out 30 pages of script to over 200 morning radio shows in the US every day. So you might hear some material I helped write on the radio.
Later, I got an e-mail with another job interview offer, so my flight to DC has even less of a chance of being fruitless. I'll be interviewing for two completely different jobs (associate editor, web producer) with two completely different companies (Electrical Contractor Magazine, The Humane Society) in the Merry Land (Maryland) next week.
After that I went to "church" with Dale and his GF. It wasn't much of a church, but that's why I liked it. It was eight people, all completely different, talking about two sentences of scripture in a basement. We did this for an hour and it was so real. We ate candy. Then I went to Qdoba for the second time this week and got veggie nachos. The lady forgot to charge me for my guac and I had a five dollar off coupon. This meant FREE NACHOS.
I'm pretty sure my mom thinks my new job is a scam cause I'll be doing it all online. It's her birthday tomorrow and I don't have any money to get her anything and I feel terrible.
