I'm about to pull my hair out.

This is enough to make me never want to become an event planner. Plus, it's ruining me for ever want to throw a big party ever again. However, I know that the outcome will probably make me forget all this misery and I will someday, unknowingly, do it again to myself.

In other news, I just finished a great book: The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It's very bitter-sweet. It's very cute too. But I think it hit a little close to home.

In addition, yesterday was Ben's birthday. We went to this awesome German restaurant, Suppenkuche in Hayes Valley in San Francisco. It wasn't as good as the real thing but it was pretty damn close.

Then we crossed the bridge over to Oakland to catch Marian McPartland at Yoshi's. It was pretty cool to see an 89 year old woman play the piano. She's kind of a legend in the classic swing style so it was a pretty good turn out for a Thursday night 10 o'clock show. She's there until the 29th if anyone want to go see her. It's not to be missed. By the way, she also hosts the Piano Jazz hour on NPR. Not bad for an 89 year old.

I guess that's all for now. It's good to be back on LJ. :o)
