Sam was in a car accident.
He and Sarah Cantler were driving home from school when they diverted their attention for a minute and collided with a minivan ahead of them outside the Granby Getty station on 202.
Both sustained only minor injuries, though poor Sarah's car took quite a beating.
Sam's chin is swollen. There's a large, ugly scrape there from the rough air-bag, and a smaller one on his nose. He split his lips and was spitting blood as he calmly exited the vehicle.
Still, he's in fine form, as usual. Maybe a bit more jittery.

He is an astoundingly tough kid. You'd be surprised. I can't hurt him, and I hit hard.
So they're both okay.
Let's pray for Sarah, shall we? Poor, sweet girl. Her car is wrecked, her liscence suspended, and her insurrance premiums are sure to skyrocket.
It seems Bad Things have not dropped their nasty habit of happening to Good People.
In LJ News, I will soon post a series of personal-opinion entries which will make for good, thought-provoking reading.
These shall start this weekend.
In personal news, my life is suffering some drastic ups and downs lately. Not so much drastic in their severity, but in the speed with which they occur. I'm experiencing more sorrow than ever before one night, then I'm perfectly stable the next.
I need a car, a job, and a girlfriend. In that order.
But before any of that, I need to sleep.
I'll catch up with all y'all in a day or two.
(Mike Doughty loves Over My Head, by the Fray, so it's fine in my book. Also, Josh Kelley's entire album is downloadable for free.)
