Almost forgot!
The other weekend I roasted a whole pig again! oh yes, and it was good despite a near catastrophy with piggy deciding to get it's noggin too close to the fire and toasting up a bit... well a lot... but it just sealed the meat i say!
anyway it was fabulicious and a great time was had by all, shown by how facebook was just full of pig roast pics and updates for most of the week. Already the plans are being bounced to me for the next event. Some suggesting a big chicken, chickens don't come big enough for that so I'm looking into sourcing a whole ostrich, if anyone knows an ostrich farmer, I want a whole one to put on a spit please!

Oh and my pan of giantness got put to great use, having 40 litres of vegetable stew which then became pork stew bubblling away for 48 hours, the best stew EVAR.
