Two meteorological phenomena in one day?
First:
Sitting at one of the tables in the lunchroom at work with my co-worker; just then, I look out the window while we're chatting and I notice that a particular patch of cirrus clouds have caught the sun's rays, causing a brilliant bright rainbow in the middle of the cloud wisp.
Second:
Driving home southbound on I-55, just a quarter mile from my exit, when I notice something to the southeast that looks like a bright airplane light at first. Then it suddenly speeds way up, then goes even FASTER down towards the ground, then completely fades.
A meteor! :D
