Standard occasional Poke-rant. Skip if you're so inclined.
As of today, I have attempted to beat the Battle Castle more than eight times. About eight, actually. Failed miserably each time, not to mention that I only got to Darach once, and I didn't even get past his first Pokemon.
Then to make matters worse, I find this on YouTube.
Some KID pwns all three of his Pokemon, with just ONE Pokemon, without breaking a sweat. And surprise surprise, his Pokemon of choice is Garchomp, one of the fanboy-favorites just like Lucario and Salamence.
You'd think my next thought would be "that's it! I have to raise a Garchomp" Well, haha... no. It's another of those Pokemon that are seriously fucking overrated that EVERYONE uses. I think that's what pisses me off the most about this. I want to be able to beat the Castle with the Pokemon I like, instead of resorting to using the "epic" Pokemon that all the fanboys and diehard competitive battlers drool over and use for everything.
Well, fuck it. I'm going to try using Silver (my shiny Weavile) in my team of three next time. Who knows. Maybe I'll get lucky.
