John Doe killed Howie, one of the new arrivals, Hoffman, got killed by Amanda and we had a flood where most of us developed some kind of new, incredibly irritating and not at all useful ability. That's most of the recent stuff, anyway.

Well, I'm actually not upset about missing that flood. What kind of power did you get?

I couldn't really control what I was saying. It was sort of tame compared to a lot of other people's. Steph's thoughts kept getting projected around her, Donny could talk to people's pants and socks and stuff... It was a very headache inducing flood.
