When I was a kid and we had Thanksgiving all of six times, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for that year.

So Barge, what are you thankful for?

[Private to Prefect]

Should I be concerned about you?

[Private to Shego]

I'm leaving you with ten percent of your powers.

being a decent human being?, i don't actually hate thanksgiving, getting in the holiday spirit

It's not a holiday that I ordinarily celebrate, but the sentiments I appreciate.

The TARDIS, and those I invite to stay within her. Liberation in all of its forms, and restraint to temper it. The family I left and the family I claimed.

And tea.

This is why this holiday is good. Because people just being thankful makes me smile.

So, considering that you said you've only done this six times in your youth, then will this be your seventh?

Good on you for doing so now, old boy. An adopted family appreciates it just as much.

I'm personally a bigger fan of adopted families. Because then you actually like the people.

I can empathize. Though my granddaughter was quite a wonderful young woman. I miss her dearly sometimes. Her name was Susan. She wed a human revolutionary and adopted children with him. They were quite happy together, last we encountered one another.

Have you any you're especially fond of?

Like your granddaughter? No. But I have some great friends here that I'm partial too.

So do I. Of all shapes and flavours. Are you going to sit at a table with them for the event?

If I can force them all down there and I'm really persuasive.

I hope my own persuasive abilities can be utilized when I decide to celebrate Otherstide.

I've never heard of that but if you need help, I can lend a hand.

It's a Gallifreyan holiday in celebration of the Other, one of our lesser founders. I was named on that day. You're to stay in your house for the full day with your family and exchange gifts.

I have friends, certainly. Whether they'll be willing to spend the whole day with me is an entirely different story.

Oh please, I'd bet they'd love to. It's what friends do.

In any case, I wish you luck in gathering your charges for your celebratory feast.

Thank you.

[Private - added a lot later]

Can I talk to you about your Inmate real quick?

[ooc; so I just realized that Kirk would've thought of talking to the Joker's warden after Shego kicked the crap out of him and this was easier than making another post. So here goes.]
