When I was a kid and we had Thanksgiving all of six times, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for that year.

So Barge, what are you thankful for?

[Private to Prefect]

Should I be concerned about you?

[Private to Shego]

I'm leaving you with ten percent of your powers.

being a decent human being?, i don't actually hate thanksgiving, getting in the holiday spirit

This may seem unusual, but I am thankful for my inmate. Despite his prejudices and short-comings, I appreciate that knowing someone having my acquaintanceship has done them some good and being able to observe his progress.

And I am thankful for my friends.

I don't think that's unusual at all. It's actually nice to hear that, Data.

Is there anything in particular you are thankful for? Outside of command of the Enterprise?

I think I'm thankful for second chances, good friends, and miniskirts.

I concur with all of these things. ...Though the latter should be used with discretion.

Not a lot of women wear them around here anyway. It's a real tragedy.

For a short while the "scant" uniform was an option for both men and women in Starfleet. However, it not only provided inadequate protection for legs but underwear left certain... dilemmas in terms of males that chose it as their option.

[If you rewrite history, Kirk, please take care of that little tidbit.]

[Screw that, he wants one of those now.]

The future seems like a really dark place.

My commanding officer made no complaints.

[He'd have the legs to rock it.]

Your commanding officer sounds like a cool guy.

Commander Riker was frequently compared to yourself. He led most of our away team missions and frequently took on the role of Captain in Picard's absence. He was an excellent tactician and cared very much for his crew. He tended to be particularly hard on himself if away team missions did not go as anticipated and there were injuries and losses. Even those he had an unparalleled track record in preventing.

[And... he'll stop being proud now, since Kirk is here and Riker is there and it's kind of a silly thing to go on about now. Especially in a timeline that won't happen.]

[Ffff. Damn. Kirk totally likes the sound of this guy :c]

I'd say that you were lucky to have him as your Commander then, and if I can help it, I'll try and make it happen in my timeline as well.

I believe he would have very much enjoyed speaking with you.
