This may also come as a shock to you, Jim, but I'm good at reading people. I don't need to look into your eyes to know that you're not at least a little hurt by his absence.

But I won't press you to talk about it, if you don't want to. I would be more than happy to go to the pub with you, if you would just rather drink. Or if you want to spar, we haven't done that in a long while.
