Pondering an OC for the new Game I find myself enraptured with..
The Character's Premise..
He's a trickster spirit and his schtick is he can grant wishes spoken to him or otherwise conveyed within his hearing.
Now he can't grant every wish, only those that do not directly effect anyone else. i.e. No wishing for someone to be your slave for a week. You can wish for just about anything else.
The catches?
1. He must grant any wish it is within his power to grant. (At the player's Discretion...but they should all know about his power and thus what happens when their character expresses a wish to him)
2. He has no direct say in how the wishes turn out (That's up to the player of the character making the wish)
3. Wishes are not instant. The Character wakes up the next day to find his wish has been granted.
4. Wishes may not be permanent. They can wear off at any time (Again Player's Discretion) They may last a day or a week, but eventually they wear off...unless they're a wish for possessions, and even then someone may show up to take the possession away. (Maybe they owe taxes on those riches they wished up)
5. He cannot tell anyone about his power to grant wishes, and, if someone figures it out, they can no longer have wishes granted by him, nor can they tell others about his power.

So what does he get out of it? Well, he has no real choice, but it amuses him to see what happens sometimes when people get exactly what they wished for.

What do you think? Input from Fuzzy is especially requested as it's her game.

Also he needs a name that doesn't give away his true nature, but once his nature is known it should have been obvious all along Like Low Key Lyesmith in American Gods

Oh and the character himself can probably teleport, turn invisible etc...so he's hard to hurt and can watch the mischief he sews unnoticed.
