youre off my game show
following evanston wyoming, we drove to provo utah.
that one is just goofy
just creepy
just... haircut
sam eagon doing our sound. he did so much at that venue, the other bands thought he worked there.
so, in provo we arrived, and typical pre-show stuff happened. the first band went on, which was a slightly over weight jock type guy that didnt know how to tune his guitar. he brought 6 people in, played about 10 songs, and told really lame stories about them in between... and these werent even lame anecdotes, they were... what the songs were written about.
he finished, and the crowd that he brought stayed until the first scream of the next band, and realized this wasnt a group of kids who liked dave mathews, so they left as well.
and now there were three touring bands plaing to... three touring bands. but it became one of the most fun shows on the tour. everyone played well, goofed off, and made so many jokes at the expense of the local guy he would have probably hit someone had he still been there.
we then finished the show with the last band convering op ivy.
also notable is the fact that physically this was the coolest venue ever.
but back on track, the show ended and all the bands became instant friends. so we went to dennys!
i expect by the end of the month every person in that phot has eachother added on myspace. good luck to everyone in preston and easton legacy.
then we made the drive to grand junction colorado, where we had the best turn out all tour. we played a good set and sold alot of merch. some kid told us we changed his life... in so many words.
but sam eagon fell asleep on the floor.
and after that we headed home.
